Music
Graffiti was created to explore the boundless expanse of jazz and other
improvisational and adventurous music. Started by veteran journalist Michael
Martinez, the site rose from the ashes of the Possible Music Contiuum,
which started at Los Angeles-based nonprofit agency Breakaway Technologies'
Open Studio Project in July 1998.
Martinez previously joined John Rhys as host of BluePower.com.
Music Graffiti hosts other programming, including
Jazz Nightflight World Connection, created by KXLU-FM/89.9-L.A. radio
show host Cleve Allyne, who also is an accomplished musician and
videographer.
